Welcome to Moving Different. If you are here learning about our studio for the first time, we’re so grateful you found us.
Our studio is built on the shared belief that every dancer deserves to be challenged, supported, and seen. Here, we’re committed to helping dancers not only with their technique, but in growing new-found levels of confidence, instilling discipline, and crafting their individual artistry. Our dancers will form memories and learn life lessons they will carry well beyond their dance careers.
I believe we have created something truly special in this town and offer a completely different approach to dance training. We're proud of the things we have done in such a short time, and are so excited for what is to come.

Owned and directed by Amber Mitchell, Moving Different offers a diverse array of dance styles for all ages. With a focus on technique, individual artistry, and collaboration, our team is committed to providing excellent training in a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere where passion for dance can thrive.
We’re excited to share our knowledge and creativity with the next generation of dancers, and provide a new dance education option for Wilmington, NC and its surrounding areas!
